This page explains how to delete your MyFinance account and all associated data. MyFinance is a personal finance tracker; an account is created locally on your device, and cloud sync (optional) stores your data under your own space in Google Firebase.

Option 1 — Delete your data on the device

Open the MyFinance app.
Go to Settings → Data.
Tap Clear all data and confirm.

This removes your financial data stored locally on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes the local account credentials and all local data from your device.

Option 2 — Delete your account and cloud-synced data

If you used Google sign-in to enable cloud sync, your data is also stored in Google Firebase (users/<your-id>). To delete your account and all cloud-synced data, email kapanov.adil@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and request account deletion. We will permanently remove the data stored in Firebase for your account, typically within a few business days.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted: your account credentials and all financial data you entered (transactions, accounts, categories, budgets, goals, notes) — locally via the in-app action / uninstall, and in cloud sync upon your email request.
Retention: cloud data is deleted upon your request. We do not keep backups of your financial content after deletion. Standard system logs, if any, are retained only as required for security and then removed.
